Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of ChatBoss. By subscribing or using the service, you agree to be bound by them.
1. Who we are
ChatBoss is a service operated by I.T.FURTHER ENTERPRISE — a Malaysian SSM-registered enterprise (SSM 201703271255 / JM0818262-D) with its principal place of business at Gelang Patah, Johor, Malaysia. References to "we", "us", "ChatBoss" mean I.T.FURTHER ENTERPRISE acting in that capacity.
2. The service
ChatBoss provides an AI-powered sales assistant that connects to your WhatsApp account via QR-code session login and automatically replies to incoming customer messages using a knowledge base you supply. The service is provided on a subscription basis.
3. Account and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and operating a lawful business. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account.
4. Subscription and billing
Intro offer (Pro plan only). Your first month on the Pro plan is US$9.90. After 30 days, the standard plan fee applies (Pro US$39.90 / Growth US$99.90 per month).
Local currency equivalents. Prices in this document are quoted in USD as the base reference. Singapore-based subscribers are billed in SGD at the same numeric amount (S$9.90 first month, then S$39.90 / S$99.90). Malaysia-based subscribers are billed in MYR with the local-market pricing (RM19.90 first month, then RM109.90 / RM299). Subscribers in other territories are billed in USD as listed. Conversion is determined at signup based on the billing address you provide.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically each month using your stored payment method. You may cancel at any time before the next billing cycle from inside your account dashboard or by emailing hello@chatboss.my.
Late payment. If a renewal payment fails, we will retry for up to 7 days before suspending bot service. Your data is retained for 30 days after suspension, after which it may be deleted.
Price changes. We may revise standard plan prices with at least 30 days' notice by email.
5. Refunds
See our Refund Policy. In short: the US$9.90 intro month is refundable within 7 days if you have not used the service materially. Standard monthly subscriptions are not pro-rated or refunded mid-cycle.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use ChatBoss to:
- Send unsolicited bulk messages, spam, or messages that breach WhatsApp's Terms of Service.
- Promote illegal goods or services, gambling without licence, or anything that breaches Malaysian or Singaporean law.
- Harvest contacts, scrape, or otherwise misuse another person's data.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the platform.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the account of any user who breaches this clause, without refund.
7. WhatsApp compliance
You are responsible for your own compliance with WhatsApp's Terms of Service and Business Policy. WhatsApp is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.; ChatBoss is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta. WhatsApp may at any time suspend or ban any number, including yours, for reasons independent of ChatBoss; we are not liable for such actions taken by WhatsApp.
8. AI output disclaimer
ChatBoss uses a large language model (currently Google Gemini) to generate replies. While the platform's anti-drift design constrains the bot to your supplied knowledge base, no AI is perfect. The bot may occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, or off-tone output. You — the merchant — remain responsible for the content sent from your WhatsApp number, including any commercial commitments, prices quoted, or representations made. We recommend you periodically review conversation logs and roleplay-test the bot.
9. Your content
You retain ownership of all knowledge-base content, brand assets, and conversation data you supply. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host and process that content only for the purpose of delivering the service.
10. Our intellectual property
The ChatBoss platform, code, design, brand, and documentation are owned by I.T.FURTHER ENTERPRISE. You may use them only as needed to use the service.
11. Service availability
We target 99% monthly uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance is announced where practical. Force-majeure events (including WhatsApp-side bans, Google API outages, internet disruption) are outside our control.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising from your use of ChatBoss is limited to the fees you have paid us in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to liability. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages.
13. Termination
You may cancel at any time. We may terminate your subscription for breach of these Terms with reasonable notice (immediate for serious breach). On termination, your access ends and your data may be deleted after 30 days unless required to be retained by law.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Subscribers based in Singapore retain their consumer-protection rights under Singapore law.
15. Changes
We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days in advance.
